As Attorney General, Josh is standing up for the rights of all Pennsylvanians—no matter what they look like, who they love, or who they pray or don’t pray to.
Josh has repeatedly fought discrimination against the disabled, LGBTQ community, those of different races and ethnicities, and other minority groups.
When the Trump Administration attempted to remove portions of the ACA that protect disabled individuals, Josh took them to court. He’s also defended critical housing and food assistance programs relied upon by the disabled community.
Josh has consistently been a champion for Pennsylvania’s LGBTQ community. As Chairman of the Montgomery County Commissioners, Josh helped some of the first LGBTQ couples marry in Pennsylvania. As AG, he has fought repeated attacks on critical anti-discrimination protections in many federal programs, and much more.
Josh has also taken concrete steps to combat racial discrimination in our justice system, using data-driven programs to eliminate bias and calling for the legalization of marijuana, as well as the expungement of non-violent marijuana charges.
